Half day 3 hours This practical 3‑hour session gives staff the confidence, skills, and tools to understand and respond to challenging behaviour in a trauma‑informed, neuro‑affirming way. Participants explore why behaviour happens, how to recognise early signs, and how to respond safely, professionally, and consistentl, including when behaviour is inappropriate or sexualised. The training covers core concepts such as behaviour as communication, triggers, emotional regulation, de‑escalation strategies, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), and maintaining clear professional boundaries. Attendees leave with practical scripts, quick‑reference tools, and strategies they can use immediately in learning and workplace environments.
