IMI QAP – Inspection of damaged EV/Hybrid Vehicles and/or components for travel onboard passenger roll-on / roll-off ferries – MGN 653 (M)
This Professional Assured Programme is designed to support Garages, Assessors and Vehicle Examiners who may encounter a damaged EV/Hybrid Vehicle and/or components. Technicians will be able to identify and risk-assess damaged EV/Hybrid vehicles to minimise the possibility of thermal runaway events, and how to implement preventative measures to ensure safe carriage on roll-on/roll-off ferries in line with Government Maritime Guidance MGN 653 (M). To be eligible for this course, the technician must hold a minimum valid Level 3 EV Qualification and already be listed on the IMI TechSafe Register
