The Level 2 Accounts or Finance Assistant Apprenticeship is designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to work within the finance department of a business. Following completion of this apprenticeship, could look forward to a career as an Accounts Administrator, Accounts Assistant, Accounts Payable Clerk, Purchase/Sales Ledger Clerk, Trainee Finance Assistant or Trainee Accounting Technician.

You will learn the foundations of accounting and bookkeeping including the recording and categorizing of transactions, and preparing general and subsidiary ledgers. You will also gain an understanding of your finance role within the business, and how the legal system, and principles of contract law can impact you in your role.
