This workshop is for anyone wishing to deepen their understanding and advocate a proactive culture.

It is recommended to attend the Aware workshop prior to the Champion.

• Foster acceptance of neurodiversity

• Transform workplace culture to embrace neurodiversity

• Recap of key terminology related to neurodiversity

• Recap of the main neurodivergent conditions and the strengths

• Importance of including neurodivergent individuals in diversity and inclusion efforts

• School trauma and its impact on learning new skills

• Understanding of executive functioning

• Activities to experience the complexities and significance of communication

• Sensory environments and overload

• How neurodivergent individuals may present within the workplace

• Anxiety – triggers and tools for regulation

• Connecting with kindness – reasonable adjustments

The workshop group agreement includes the option to ‘pass’ on any activity.
