The Occupational Therapist Degree Apprenticeship at Keele University is designed to emphasise the link between occupation and health, helping participants articulate their contributions and build a strong professional identity. The learning highlights how meaningful therapeutic support enhances physical and mental wellbeing. Occupational Therapists support individuals of all ages to engage in activities and occupations that are important and meaningful to them. This apprenticeship is designed for Occupational Therapy Support Workers in health and social care settings, as well as those in the private, voluntary, and independent sectors. Learning on the programme is facilitated through university education, workplace application in industry and practice-based learning via placement. Please note this apprenticeship is also subject to HCPC approval and RCOT accreditation.
