Rehab Jigsaw, a growing rehabilitation business led by two directors with strong clinical expertise, faced a common challenge: balancing day-to-day clinical delivery with strategic business development. While their reputation and industry presence were expanding organically, the lack of a clear strategic direction limited their ability to define objectives with timeframes, implement processes effectively, and maximise growth potential.

Through the UKSPF Training Grants project, funded by East Staffordshire Borough Council and managed by the Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire Skills Hub, Rehab Jigsaw used their grant to access the SME Growth Programme delivered by HW Leadership Consultancy. This tailored programme focused on:

• Reviewing strategy and business planning
• Improving operations and systems
• Building capacity and delegation
• Developing a leadership mindset for growth

The training was designed to embed a consistent strategy, introduce scalable systems, and equip the directors with the leadership skills needed to balance clinical excellence with business expansion.

The results have been transformative. As the directors explain:
